Our college is moving to Canvas from Blackboard and one thing that's still a pain is extra credit on quizzes. 

In Blackboard, you could have a quiz that was extra credit and auto-graded. 

In Canvas, you have to use fudge points for each student after the fact, or do a workaround to flip the overall points around at the end to make it worth extra credit. 

There are several ways I can imagine to make this automatic in Canvas, but I know it is possible. Please look into this. It would make our teachers' lives way easier! 

Ideas:

• checkbox under the overall points possible to make an entire quiz extra credit. This would gray out the points possible and make it zero, then give the students the points from the questions as their grade. 
• checkbox for each question that makes that question extra credit. Students receive points for the question, but the points possible for that question are not added to the total points possible.
