Bio:
I am an educational technologist who currently works as an Instructional Designer at Ventura College. I also dabble in creating educational apps for the iPad. I have taught Spanish and Computer Science at Independent schools in grades 6 - 12, and I have also worked as a faculty trainer, web designer, technology instructor, and LMS guru in various schools. For Fun, I am avid fan of DuoLingo where I am studying German and Portuguese.

I don't think your graphic meets the standards of solid UDL design. The rotating image not only could appear sarcastic. It could bring up trauma from other unknown loops.
One could also make them time relevant as it is an announcement.

I did not mind, and I found the experience useful. I am not sure about the name "differentiation tag". There might be an easier name to use.
