The Canvas Student web version will show submitted assignments on the calendar as crossed out. My Canvas Parent web version does not and it would be very helpful to have that so I'm not switching ...
I see how you can switch between students in the parent mobile app, but I don't see how that is done in the web interface. I use Canvas mostly through the web.
