Thanks for passing on the suggestion Aaron. The intent is to build a template that can be shared with anyone, that will allow for text editing while retaining some branding look & feel.  >90% of our audience, if I would mention <div> tags, would walk out the door.  The only info going into this table would be the course name, instructor name or something along those lines - pieces of information that are readily accessible at other places on the page. Hello Ellen and snugent‌ - I love this 1 column table idea you've shared. Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the HTML for the table?  I played around with it myself but didn't get the same nice results that you have. (Probably b/c I don't know what I'm doing.) My main two questions were: How do you get the cells to hold their formatting (text size, background color, text color) when the text is editted?  @rake_9  - Yes, you are correct.  That is the best description of what is happening and how I should create a solution for this unique situation. After a discussion with our CSM ( @cdoty ‌), she helped me wrap my head around this, and, like you guys,stated that I shouldn't see this multiple section course as cross-listed and that I could create a new course and use cross-listing to pull out one of the sections into it. Thanks all for the responses!   @Chris_Hofer ,  @kbickell ‌, - I did go in and check all the sections of all this user (and a couple other users).  They are all showing the same setup.  Only a "Crosslist" button, no "De-crosslist" button.  @kmeeusen ‌,  @lekern ‌ - Thanks for the insights.  I am the Canvas account admin for our district so I don't think it is a permissions issue.  @lekern ‌,  @tdelillo ‌ - Your info is helpful, thanks.  I think we have some things in how we set up the SIS import that is determining how this works/looks.  I wasn't a part of that initial discussion about the import but I have a call with our Canvas CSM tomorrow and will pick their brain about how this is working and the best steps to take in these situations.  I will report back with what I find out. I didn't get to attend this session but I am thrilled to get the chance to view it now.  (and thanks to the "Rogue Agent" badge for directing me here!) As a new Canvas district I can say without hesitation that without the Community my experience as a user and admin would be MUCH less productive & enjoyable. Searching through the existing knowledge base is nearly a daily requirement for me and being able to pose a question (while a little intimidating at first) has been an absolute godsend. I really hope that next summer's Instructurecon expands on this idea and maybe breaks it up into a couple sessions, or ideally a daily session!  There is so much expertise to shine a light on and so many people that need to know about it! Thanks for the reply  @dhulsey ‌! After expanding the discussion in our English dept to include some of our meda specialists, they brought up that our media management tool, Follett Destiny, might be able to do this.  And it actually turns out that we will probably purchase & download the copies of the novels through that site and then students will be able to read them using Follett's eReader tool.  (I think we are using SingleSignOn to get students into Follett Destiny, but will have to check on that too). I did see that there is a Follett Discovery tool listed in the EduApps area so I will have to explore that and see if it can do what we need.  Otherwise, as you mention, we might need to use the Redirect Tool to get students there.
