Supporting students with disabilities is more than good teaching—it’s required by law. The federal government has increased its focus on digital accessibility in higher education to ensure all learners are accommodated. While ensuring accessibility can require time and resources, it also provides real benefits that benefit all students.

Hey everyone! Thanks for coming today – I will be posting more resources soon, but wanted to share a couple that people were most interested in:

1. Canvas Accessibility Collaboration Group​
   This is a Canvas specific group that discusses accessibility issues. In addition to the online collaboration the group also holds a monthly phone call. Check out the page for information on joining.
   
   
2. Accessibility Meetup
   On Thursday at noon a few individuals interested in the accessibility discussion will be meeting at the Canvas Community Lounge right outside the conference center. It should be a great opportunity to get to know each other and share ideas. Hope to see some of you there tomorrow!
