[ARCHIVED] Apps Disabled by Default?

Is there a way to have apps disabled by default in a course?  We've added a tutoring app that faculty can use for their course if they want. But as of now, the app is in the "Enabled" area of the Course Settings > Navigation.  We want it to default to the "Disabled" section so faculty have to enable it only when they want to allow it for their course. 

Any ideas on how to do this?

Hi Josh,

I'm not sure there is away to do this via code, but you could do this using a #blueprint‌ course, where when you create any new course shells they immediately get associated to #blueprint course‌ where the course navigation has been set to hide the tutoring app and once the sync is complete you'd have to un-associate the course from that #blueprint‌.  You could also do this by having a master course where you #import course content‌ from that master course into each newly created course that would set the default course menu options.
