Yesterday, I created a bunch of new quizzes that now show up under my assignments in the course. However, when I go to add them to a module it looks like my list of assignments is not updating and I cannot find them to add to the module.
Hello! Have you verified that your assignments (quizzes) are published? You should see a green circle with a check if they are in fact published.
All the best.
I don't think assignments need to be published to add to a module. Essentially, my "add to module" list has not updated with anything created since yesterday afternoon. Here is what I see on my assignments tab versus my add to module options.
Assignments tab: (Independent Practices were what was created)
Add to module options:
The newest assignments just aren't showing up to add. Notice the ones that are available are not published either.
The assignments do however show up to link on other pages, so it is just the add to module feature.
If you created the quiz in Classic Quizzes you will need to choose 'Quiz' from the dropdown instead of 'Assignments' in the Module.
They are new quizzes, so that is not the issue either. They still are not showing up to add to the module. I am instead using the copy to feature in assignments, which is not as efficient but will have to do for now.
This does not solve the problem for me or others (see additional posts on topic). The issue is presenting with any type of assignment.
Please remove the "solved" notation on this post.
This is happening to me exactly but its not just quizzes, its any type of assignment. The "add to module list" is not updating is a great way of describing it. Anyone found an answer?
I am having the same issue, not with Quizzes but regular Assignments. Very frustrating!
