Is this page out of date - it shows I am on a MAC and i am not....
Is there a better page to sent students and instructors to about Canvas browser requirements
Solved! Go to Solution.
The primary purpose of the page is to let users know what platforms and browsers are supported, not necessarily to tell you what you are currently using:

That is the current page, as far as I know, and I m not seeing any problem with the (automatic) platform identification at the bottom. What does it show for you?
You are using Chrome 97 on Mac
Your screen resolution is 1920 x 1080.
But Really....

Maybe the widget should be replaced with a link to a more accurate tool such as https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/
Hi @DavidSchlater ...
If you wanted to make that suggestion to the Canvas Documentation Team, you certainly could. If you navigate to the Browser Requirements page you referenced in your original question, you'll find a link near the very bottom of that page for "share your feedback". You can provide any comments there, and the Documentation Team will review your comments to see if any changes need to be made to that Guide. (The "share your feedback" link is available for any Guide in the Community.) Hope this helps!
I may take your advice on the comment. I have been thinking for a while now that they need to put a last updated date stamp on their pages.
That way you have an idea of how new the information on the page actually is.
