There are several reasons why this may be happening, but the most likely is that the instructor has not yet published the course. However, you have asked your question in a global community of Canvas users, and we only have access to our own accounts and courses, so we cannot troubleshoot this for you.
Your best bet is to ask your school's Canvas Admin/Support department for assistance.
