Hi Everyone,
I uploaded a podcast (mp3) to Canvas Studio and changed the thumbnail from the default to a custom image. The change appeared to work just fine, but after viewing the podcast in Canvas Studio, the thumbnail reverted to the default and the menu option to change the thumbnail disappeared.
Otherwise, everything works fine. But, I wondered if anyone else has seen this behavior and how to get my thumbnail back.

Have you tried clearing your cache/history in your web browser, closing the web browser, and then re-starting the web browser to see if that helps? I'm having a slightly different issue this past week where I had uploaded a thumbnail image to my Studio video a while back, and now I want to replace it with a different image. On my end, the image has not changed. But, when I chatted with Canvas tech support, they were able to see the new image I was trying to upload. I'm not sure why it wasn't changing immediately (this was Friday), but I just checked today (Sunday), and it finally changed to what I wanted. Tech Support also suggested I re-boot my computer to see if that would help.

Thanks @Chris_Hofer for the suggestion, I will give it a try. Although, I performed the same tasks in both Firefox and Chrome which I assume have different caches.
Update: Just cleared my cache, but the problem remains. But, thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks @Chris_Hofer . Haven't resolved it yet. I did try some of the suggestions (clearing caches, different browsers) without luck. I'll take your advice and contact Canvas Support as soon as the semester ends and I have more time.

I'm not sure if I've had that exact issue, but I have had recent issues where I was trying to change the thumbnail image to something else after I had initially added a thumbnail image to the Studio video. It was not changing immediately. In fact, it actually took a day or two to fully update. It was strange because I chatted with Instructure tech support about this, and they said that they could see my new image I uploaded...even though I could not. Their solution for me was to re-start my computer to see if it helped.
Have you been able to get your issue resolved? If not, I would recommend that you reach out to Canvas Support to see if they have any suggestions for you.
