[ARCHIVED] Canvas redirecting to https://inst-fs-iad-prod.inscloudgate.net/ when downloading files

While trying to download files from canvas it always redirects me to the page https://inst-fs-iad-prod.inscloudgate.net/ . I am on a Mac running safari. I have tried clearing my browser cache /history and restarting my computer. The link will run for days on end ( I have noticed in screen time).

Is there anything I can do to make it so that while downloading files from canvas it does not redirect me to this webpage?

Hi @abbythecrashc 

I am not a Mac person, but I suspect it is your Safari browser redirecting your download to it's default location. I found the following tip in a Google search, so let me know if it works.

"You can make Safari put downloaded files anywhere you want on your Mac. Open Safari, click the Safari menu in the top-left corner of the screen, select Preferences, then click the General tab. Next, see the “Save downloaded file to” pull-down menu? The default setting is the Downloads folder."
