Greetings Fellow Canvasphiles!
I apologize for being away, as projects and personal illness--at the end of the year--has taken its toll.
But enough about me, and let's get back to our topic!
I'll add another proverbial "log" to the "fire" of our discussion:
In defining an LTI Implementation Policy, along with corresponding procedures, there are several moving pieces to consider. Although these factors are general considerations, Rice listed them as:
- Functionality
- Accessibility
- Security
- FERPA
- Legal
- Cost
and others.
For those of us that are developing, or have already established, a codified form of these areas:
- What does the review process look like for these in your institutional/department considerations?
- Who is responsible for completing these documents?
- How long does it usually take to complete a review for each factor?
- Would anyone be willing to share their internal processes/forms/ or documents to serve as a foundation for those desiring to create such a process for their own institutions?
Again, sorry for being a bit delinquent in my participation. If this time of year prevents us from communicating again before the new year, then I hope you all find this Advent Holiday Season to be full of warmth, joy, and fully receptive to receiving its promises and gift!
With Grateful Appreciation for you All!
