[ARCHIVED] Does "Allow in Mastery Paths" seem to get randomly checked?

Hi,

Sometimes teachers will submit tickets to me panicking  because students can't access a Page.   Often the issue is that the "Allow in Mastery Paths" checkbox is checked -- and unchecking it solves the problem.   This has happened to me a couple of times as well.   While it is entirely possible that the checkbox is accidentally getting selected when editing the Page, I also wonder if it sometimes Randomly, automatically gets turned On.     Has anyone else experienced this?

I can't seem to find that it's an issue.   Haven't submitted a ticket because it's quite random (and we solve it on the spot).

 @Hildi_Pardo , greetings! That is a strange issue. I've been using Mastery Paths on and off for a while and I've never had this happen, but now I'm really curious about if there's something funny going on and if anyone else is experiencing this.

 @Hildi_Pardo , I have seen this happen. I think it occurs due to accidental clicks or touchscreen touches near this checkbox.

And when it happens, it seems to coincidentally happen to several teachers around the same time-- which makes it very easy for me to troubleshoot since it "just happened yesterday" with another teacher.   Ok...I just hope it's accidental user error, as Rob says, and not something like occasionally a Page gets created with the option already checked.    Thanks!

Hi Hildi, I am seeing the same issue at my school. Different teachers in different course. Don't think it is accidental happening because it is a touch screen
