[ARCHIVED] I want to add electives to a Catalog program. Can I do that?

In my program, there are three primary required courses and a required capstone course. But in addition, learners must choose three courses from a list of electives. I can't see any way to add electives to the program. Has anyone done this? Is there a simple way to go about it that I'm not seeing?

I'm sorry that no one has yet responded to your question. Currently Catalog does not support electives, but I think that would be a great feature idea! Please create a new idea in Canvas Feature Ideas​ and add your thoughts, which would give our product team a good idea about what you are looking for and how you would use electives in programs.

Is there a follow up to this?  I can't find any reference to this feature anywhere and we have huge programmes (containing 50+ courses) that have elective courses.  Really needing this feature.

Really need a follow up. Can't believe this isn't a fully native feature yet. Almost all education institutions I can think of offer electives.

You can only use programs and choose requirements for that program as far as I am aware.
