As an English Language Support teacher, I thought it would be helpful to join my teachers' classes. But I don't want to see the assignments they have to grade show up on my to-do list. What should I do?

Hi @AaronZacek might it work if your role was changed to 'student' in their course? Then you could see the course but not get the notifications the teacher does?

Hi @AaronZacek
It might be worth your time to engage your school's Canvas Admin in discussions about custom rolls in Canvas. They have the ability to do so, and it can be extremely helpful for creating support access to folks like yourself.
The following guides might be useful for your Admin...................
- How do I add a course-level role in the Permissions page?
- How do I set permissions for a course-level role in an account?
I hope this is helpful,
Kelley
