Hello all,
I have a question regarding the respondus lockdown browser. I am using this in conjunction with Canvas for exams. While taking an exam with the lockdown browser (I am not using the monitor to record them), are students able to login to Canvas on another device, say, a smartphone or tablet? If so, will it notify me in an access report, analysis, etc. that they have viewed the files under my course? I'm aware that I am capable of viewing when someone last accessed a file, however, what I am trying to see is if they are accessing these files on another device while taking an exam on lockdown browser. My apologies for the convoluted question.
Cheers

Hi @kevkarr
From everything I know about Respondus it only locks down the computer they are taking the exam on and has no way of know if a student pulls up Canvas on another device.

Which is why this Lockdown Browser is an utterly useless tool. It doesn't prevent anything.
