Not sure where to post this, but here are a few recommended upgrades to reassign feature:

The reassign button only shows up on certain types of assignments. Media uploads do not show it but google links do - even when both are used in the same assignment - so some students I can reassign and others I cannot.

The reassign button requirement for comments before reassigning is a huge barrier to its functionality. At a minimum a rubric score should allow reassignment since rubrics are usually the main feedback.

Reassignment should have option to auto triggered based on a cut score. For example, anyone who is scored below 80% on a rubric gets reassigned.

If you would like to make suggestions for enhancements to the Reassign button, then you'd want to submit each idea separately as a Feature Idea here in the Canvas Community.  You can click on the PRODUCT menu at the top of any page here in the Community, and then select IDEA CONVERSATIONS.  On the page that displays, you'll see a button to "Suggest an idea".  Here are some Guides for you all about Feature Ideas:

So this is still the case, right? That if the student uploads via Canvas Studio then there is no 'reassign' link. At least that is what I'm experiencing now. Is this in the works to fix? Interesting that that something within Canvas is not recognizing something of it's own.

To be honest, I'm not sure...sorry to say.  My response was from almost two years ago.  Since Canvas Studio is technically a LTI built by Instructure (Canvas), I'm not sure if the reassign options exist.  I do not know if this is on Instructure's radar to fix.  It could be intended behavior, but I am not sure.  If you want, you can check out the Canvas Product Roadmap - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com) to see what Instructure has planned for Canvas in the near future and further down the road.  Sorry I don't have a better response for you right now, but I hope this helps in some way.
