Hi, I am a student currently using Canvas. We recently had an assignment and before I turned it in, it gives people an option to write a comment. I wrote a personal comment as I felt back story/ context to my writing could give it more impact BUT it is only meant for the teachers eyes. Can other students view the comments? how does the privacy work.

When you leave a submission comment (sometimes called an assignment comment), it is visible only to people who have the ability to grade assignments. This means that your instructor(s) can see the comments, but other students cannot. If your course has any teaching assistants, they would also be able to see the comments.
