Can I override a course import?

Can I undo a course import? I imported quizzes and not my existing content has been overridden.

Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Unfortunately, there is not an undo for course imports.  You should have access to the beta and test versions of your canvas instance:

You might be able to retrieve an older version of the course from there and reset and restore the export file but I would highly recommend getting your Canvas Support group or Canvas Admin involved.

Is it possible to have a warning box or check box before importing course content? Or maybe a cancel button under the "Current Jobs" list? Just an idea but we do love the import feature!

There is a Feature Idea that has been here in the Community for a number of years now, and it might align with something you'd like to see implemented in Canvas.  Check out:
