Convert a page into assignment

Is it possible to turn  a Page into an Assignment? I imported a module from Commons, but I don't want some of the work to be a Page.

Hi  @maricel_keeter  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

You cannot change one content type to another content type in Canvas. Your only option is to copy the content from the page into a new assignment then edit the settings as desired, then delete the page!

Kelley has retired, so you won't be hearing from him any longer in the Community.  I tired to search for any existing Ideas here in the Community, and I found one that has been archived:

I thought I had seen an additional Idea somewhere recently, but I've not been able to locate that one at this time.

I'd suggest that you re-submit this as an Idea here in the Community so that it could be evaluated by other Community members and Instructure.  Please take a look at the section called "Ideas and Themes" located at this link:
