Hello there.
We issue digital badges for course completion (Issuer - Halo Staffing). We have 73 active badges.
ISSUE: It has come to my notice that Badgr does NOT SEND ANY EMAIL to the student saying they have earned a digital badge. The student has no way of knowing about this.
This is very bad for us as trainers. Please do advice us what is the reason behind it.
We have been using Badgr since May 2022 and have issued 7375 badges as of today.
Please reach out with your advice.

Hi,
For free issuers (Canvas Badges), only the first award from that Issuer will send a notification email. Subsequent award emails will not be sent. The reason the first email is sent is to align with privacy rules around the globe.
Canvas Credentials customers (paid subscription) have the ability to customize their email notifications. The release notes from March explain this further Canvas Badges/Credentials Release Notes (2024-03-11)
