Canvas Catalog - Test Student can't view Dashboard

Greetings,

Good afternoon. Working on a six course certificate program in Canvas Catalog.

In testing, the test student role cannot see the Dashboard to see if the certificate function is working properly after completing all the requirements.

Any insights, ideas, or thoughts on remediating this would be greatly appreciated.

@zen-dsgnr Have you added this person to a course to have them complete the requirements or what is your process?

I realize now, I think they just used student view. would it work to change their designer role to student - and complete the requirements - it seems my institution does not have a "test student" role in the drop-down for roles.

Is there an easy wa to add a test user role to Canvas Catalog?

@zen-dsgnr It needs to be added to Canvas and then masquerade as that user to Catalog.
