Side Panel.... Coming Soon

Hi There, 

I was wondering if there is a current feature in the Canvas Catalog to have a side panel or option where we can highlight a coming soon feature to highlight to new users to what is coming up for our library? 

Secondary is there a way to pin posts or have a feature section for new material or items we would like to highlight for sale?
