Triggering course completion in Catalog

Sometimes students miss completing a Canvas module requirement for various reasons that are not their fault.  For us, this is usually a SCORM issue.  This keeps them from achieving Completion status and receiving their certificate in Catalog.  Is there any way for an admin to override a module requirement so that the student complete it?  

I've tried changing the grade, and that didn't seem to work.  The only thing I've tried that has worked is contacting the student and having them complete the requirement again.

@dljoyork Unfortunately, that is the only way I do it is to tell the student to complete the module or I act as them to make sure they have completed it in Canvas and then I check the analytics to make sure they received the certificate of completion.
