Currently, the combination of the assignment creation page remembering the previous settings for peer review, with the fact that the peer review option and tickbox is hidden when the assignment creation page is opened, and external tool is the default submission type, is creating a risk where tutors may be inadvertently creating peer review assignments leading to inappropriate access to peers’ submissions.
It would be clearer if the peer review (and group assignment) settings were never hidden so that tutors setting up assignments can clearly see whether or not these settings are enabled, and that the assignment is set up appropriately.
