The Instructure Product Team is working on implementing a better solution to collect your feedback. Read Shiren's blog for more information.
When Blueprints are being developed, but already connected to courses, it would be very useful if you could 'opt out' (similar to unpublish or unlock) certain content, so it is then excluded from what is synced to the associated courses.
Context: we are a large organisation with curriculum developers who are developing 1-2 terms ahead of teachers using the courses. There is often 'edits' that need to be made as mistakes etc are noticed in live content, so syncing those changes means pushing content that is 'under development'. We currently use 'UNDERDEVELOPMENT' as a text header to let teacher know what is and isn't ready to be used, however it would be much better if we had control over what is synced and what isn't. This would also work well for teachers who wish to make changes or improvements to assignments/quizzes for next year soon after they are done (rather than writing it down for later) without altering assessments students have already completed (in the case of them needing to sync something else later on).
Proposed solution is a toggle button, similar to the lock/unlock and publish/unpublish buttons, that allows you to include/exclude certain things from the sync.
I would think this option should appear on:
