[Calendar] Differentiate iCal calendar feed events and assignments

Problem statement:

If students have 6 core courses, when they download/ view the iCal calendars everything is just appearing as a calendar item and unless they go and look (i.e click) at each one in detail they can’t tell which one is assignment.

Proposed solution:

Color coding the different calendar items depending on the type of item or using icons to differentiate will help the students quickly identify the calendar items.

Problem statement:

Currently there is no way to get a live feed calendar of just one course from canvas. If you copy the feed URL you get the events from all the courses you have on your canvas account. I know you can filter to just view one course at a time on canvas itself, but I want to export it to my phone calendar which I use for everything instead of having to log in to canvas each time.

Proposed solution:

Put simply, from a students perspective I don't want my iphone calendar clogged up with events i'm not interested in or planning to attend (scholarship deadlines, special interest groups etc); most students, I assume, would just want a live feed of their assignment due dates. A live feed / calendar subscription is better than manually entering in each due date as it avoids user error and is always up to date with any changes.

You CAN filter in canvas but not in the live calendar feedThe live calendar feed picks up all the courses you're enrolled in whether they were selected in canvas or not
