When creating a series of events, the calendar requires either: 1) consistent repetition of events or 2) individual creation of events. This prevents the creation of meetings that have the same specifications but fall on irregular times/days.
Creating a multiple-select date picker would allow for the creation of a series of events that have the same specifications (important to be available for sections as well re: times) for irregular dates.
An example is that we have irregular Zoom meetings for our hybrid classes with cross-listed sections. This is due to needing some weeks in person and some weeks with Zoom (but the days are not the same per the curriculum). Using the Zoom integration is not an option because all Zoom meetings are visible to all sections that are cross-listed. So, in a given semester, say we have 15 Zoom meetings. Rather than individually creating all of these events one by one, being able to create all meetings for the semester (in person and virtually) at once, would be ideal (with minimal deleting).
