Class group emails are impersonal, even when sent to two or three people because the recipient's name is not in the message field. I want each student to see their own name at the top of a group email. Without this automatic impersonal personalization, Canvas is missing an easy way to keep students connected and successful. Without salutation, the messages are not received as well as personalized messages. just human nature. I just realized I type my name at the bottom of each note---is there a default closing option?
Can I put a different student's name in the email message field with html or css or something? The shell has the information to parse and send the message. Put can a personalize each student in a group email typing or something like that in the message itself ?
