When course content is copied between courses, announcements and discussions lose their authorship. In the new course the author is listed as Unknown, even if the original author is enrolled in both courses.
When copying courses (or even just announcements/discussions), there should be an option to retain authorship. Faculty are currently manually copying discussion prompts and announcement content in order for them to properly be attributed as the authors. This is not the way things should work.
