[Course Settings] Grading Period Toggle in all Canvas areas: Learning Mastery Gradebook, Quizzes, Modules, Discussions, etc.

Problem statement:

There is no Grading Period toggle in the Learning Mastery Gradebook, Canvas Quizzes, Modules, or Discussions. Teachers with a lot of content in their courses have a difficult time organizing their course materials. As well, students have a hard time navigating through content from a previous grading period. For example, if there are a lot of assignments in a course and the teacher tries to add a new assignment to a module, the dropdown includes all course assignments, including those from a previous grading period. Similarly, teachers using the Learning Mastery Gradebook have to scroll through all course outcomes, even if they are restarting student progress toward mastery in a new grading period.

Proposed solution:

Please add a Grading Period toggle across the board, similar to what is available in the traditional Canvas gradebook and the Assignments page. Teachers and students should be able to select which grading period they are in and only see content from that grading period. An option to "view all grading periods" should be included, just like the capability in Assignments. Please expand this capability across all areas of Canvas: Learning Mastery Gradebook, Quizzes, Modules, and Discussions. This will enhance course navigation for teachers, students, and observers, making course content more accessible for all users.
