I'm an Admin who was asked by a faculty member if it was possible to view a "snapshot" of what his Canvas account looked like on a specific date. He had a ton of missing assignments that he swore were there as of a month ago.
If he was able to view past versions of his Canvas course, he'd be able to pinpoint roughly when the assignments disappeared and it would give him a better idea of what happened. It would also be a very useful tool for Admin who are helping faculty with similar scenarios, such as edits that were made, lost information due to changes, and more.
