[Credentials/Badges] Animated Badges

Problem statement:

We would love to create animated badges for students to receive after completing a module. Only static images are currently accepted in Badgr/Canvas.

Proposed solution:

Animated badges would add another level of fun to the learning process and promote further learning. Please add .gif as an accepted file type while keeping the animation aspect of the file in tact within Canvas. Thank you.

If you are looking to gamify a course experience, I love the concept you propose. Atleast having the functionality to great an animated or support an animated image would be great!
