4/5 of my instructors have not added a picture or color to their classes, so my dashboard is filled with gray. This makes it more difficult to quickly differentiate classes. The one teacher who did add a picture added a gray picture, so it's not that helpful either. Constantly seeing gray is very depressing.
Allow students to change class pictures and/or colors. Adding my own colors or pictures to my personal canvas page would be a more pleasant and fun experience. Just like when I got my notebooks in middle school, I want to assign different colors for my classes to differentiate them. It's driving me crazy that I'm in an environment class and the class color is default gray rather than green.
