[Discussions] Checkpoints Does Not Play Nicely With Revised Speedgrader

Problem statement:

When Discussion Checkpoints was enabled at our institution, it changed the way Discussions appear in Speedgrader and removed the view of a student's replies being included with their initial post in Speedgrader, which is very important in allowing an instructor to fully grade each student's participation in the Discussion by seeing their initial post and their replies all together. Enabling Checkpoints totally changes the Speedgrader view and it is no longer the same view as what you included in the linked video on your last response. I have disabled Checkpoints at our institution and will not enable Checkpoints again until this issue is resolved and instructors are able to view both a student's initial post and their follow-up replies together in the Speedgrader view.

Proposed solution:

Please make the needed changes so that Discussion Checkpoints can be enabled while also allowing instructors to see each student's initial post along with their follow-up replies together in Speedgrader.

Problem statement:

This week an "upgrade" was pushed to all instructors that eliminated the view of an individual student's post in Speedgrader when used for discussion. The forward and next post only momentarily bring the student's post into view, which is incredibly time consuming when you need to grade their posts for a single assignment grade. Using the search feature only adds additional steps in bringing up an individual students posts in order to replicate the previous superior version of Speedgrader for discussions. This would apply to the vast majority of instructors who have dozens upon dozens of students in a single or multiple courses who must now spend extra time finding individual student posts instead of all of those posts appearing on a single page instantly.

Proposed solution:

Either include an option to use classic Speedgrader, or include a "Show only this student's post" button. As for the why: So instructors do not have to spend additional hours in the already time consuming task of grading. Returning the ability to view only a single student's individual post will make grading more efficient and enhance the user experience for Instructors, much like how Speedgrader functioned before the changes pushed after Jan 18th.
