Currently there are two separate UIs for an instructor to access gradebook feedbacks on a specific assignment of a single student. Example to access these UI: 1. In the email notification of a new feedback comment, click on the link to view comment. This opens a screen where the assignment is shown one one side, comments in a right-side column. 2. In Gradebook, view the grade of an assignment of a single student by clicking the [->] button. Then click on the Speedgrader button. UI#1 is missing a lot of functions. - Status of the assignment (none/late/missing/excused) cannot be edited. - Button to show rubric is located in a very different spot. - Instructor can't navigate to anything else other than to exit this screen. - The comment box is not rich-text enabled.
Retire UI#1 described above; direct all the links that would take instructor to that UI to the Speedgrader view showing the specific assignment of a student. I'm betting that most instructors are much faster in using the Speedgrader UI. The other UI is either missing the functions listed above, or they are put in such a different place that it's hard to find.
