Teachers/schools should be able to give grading schemes on weighted assignment groups. Teachers/School sometimes report on grades for specific skills/items over semester and GPA.
Example Assignment group: Essay Writing (total 50%) Task 1 40% Task 2 60% In this weighted Assignment group you should be able to give a letter grade based on Performance in task 1 and Task 2. E.g if they got 50% and 90% across both tasks, they would get 20+54 = 74% weighted score. This might correlate with a B+ in marking/grading scheme. Assignment Group: Exam (total 50%) Part 1 50% Part 2 50% <---- You could give Exam a weighted grade as well The Total Score would then calculate their GPA score for this subject. For example if they scored 100% in Exam, their GPA would be 0.5*74 +0.5*100 = 87%
