The gradebook total will only provide you a total for the specified marking period. We would like to see the total grade when a date filter has been applied. For example, in the spring, our seniors have an internship/volunteer program and do not come to school for the remainder of the year. They do not get a 3rd trimester grade; those grades are calculated into their 2nd trimester grade.
Enable the Total Grade column to calculate the grade within the specific date filter that teachers, even if it spans more than one trimester.
