[Gradebook] Emailling Students From Within Gradebook

Problem statement:

Dear colleagues, Hope all is well and thank you, in advance, for any suggestions you may come up with to overcome the following issue.

Prolog: Especially post-COVID, the number of email reminders I send out, from within the Gradebook, to students who usually leave working on an assignment to the last minute, has gone up! This may be partially due to the fact that according to NIH, the attention deficit is now between 8-12 seconds! It would, therefore, be a great help to add a feature to the gradebook so that when a faculty sends out an email warning to these students, the faculty could, then receive a note/email with names of the students who receive this type of email from within the gradebook!

Current alternatives are as follows: (1) take a screenshot of the recipients before sending out the email or (2) type each recipient’s name on a document, which is time-consuming!

Proposed solution:

Humble suggestion: Add a feature [may be a checkbox], to emails sent from within the Gradebook, so that the faculty could immediately receive the date of the sent email(s) together with the names and emails of the recipients. Immense gratitude, Felicity
