[Gradebook] Grade entries are not saved as expected in the Gradebook for assignments using the Complete/Incomplete or the Letter grading type
For the Complete/Incomplete and the Letter grading type assignment types, when selecting a grade from the drop-down menu in the cell for a specific student in the gradebook, the grade is only saved after clicking somewhere else on the page. If you for example select a checkmark in the drop-down menu or if you press "Enter" and then leave the page, the grade is not saved. The expectation is that selecting a grade from the drop-down menu alone should save it automatically. However, without that extra interaction (like clicking outside the cell), the system doesn't register that the grading is finished, which is why the grade does not persist.
Suggestions for improvement: 1) The best thing would be if the grade is saved when selecting a grade, without having to click outside the cell. 2) Another alternative would be that the system in some way signals that the grade is not yet saved. For example, triggering a warning message stating that you have unsaved changes if you are about to leave the page. 3) The minimum action would be to update the guides so that it is clearly stated that you need to click outside the grade entry cell after selecting a a grade or after pressing "Enter" for the grade to be saved.
