[Gradebook] Gradebook needs View Option to highlight Reassign

Problem statement:

It's great that we can easily REASSIGN an assignment to a student while using Speedgrader.
It would really help in managing the class if the Gradebook had a View Option that would let us assign a different highlight color based on whether an assignment had been reassigned to any student in that class.

We cannot rely just on the score assigned during first attempt grading to show at a glance which activities were reassigned or not. Sometimes, a complete "didn't get it" results in a zero; other times, a student gets part of the work correct, but is clearly struggling, so a zero score is undeserved.

The marking of an activity as REASSIGNED should be independent of the grade. But a nice visible tracking feature would help us manage the class.

Proposed solution:
Modify the "View Options" panel to add an option for "Reassigned," and the ability to select a different color. This color would show when looking at the gradebook as a whole. When a reassigned activity is resubmitted by a particular student, the visible view option would change to Resubmitted.

Possible solution / use case

Modify the "View Options" panel to add an option for "Reassigned," and the ability to select a different color. This color would show when looking at the gradebook as a whole.

When a reassigned activity is resubmitted by a particular student, the visible view option would change to Resubmitted.

At a glance, instructors can then see students who've been given another chance, and who haven't acted upon it yet. This may indicate a need for additional follow-up with the student.

Hi @wills004 - With the Canvas Release Notes (2023-10-21), admins can add a custom status. Would that work for you, or would you like this ability at the course-level or have it happen automatically?
