Some Integrations send grades back to Canvas in the form of decimals (ex. 5.33). Some SIS's doen't accept deximal grades (ex. Skyward) and this creates a big difference between the grade on Canvas and the SIS. For example, I use Edpuzzle which converts from 100 points down to whatever points I set in Canvas- this creates decimals. If a student got a75 in Edpuzzle, and I had set the assignment in Canvas to be worth 10 points, then that grade becomes 7.50. When I send the grades to Skyward, it becomes a 7 out of 10 because it won't read the decimal. So I have to go in manually and round up or down all the grades for that assignment.
It would be really helpful to have an option to have Canvas automatically round a an assignment's grades up or down. This would be similar to the ability we have now to curve a grade by assignment. That way, we wouldn't have to go into the gradebook and manually change all of those grades when the Integration sends the scores.
