I messed up my grade book and all of the grades I already provided for an assignment have disappeared. Specific to the grade book, the assignments themselves still have the grades. I used the 'settings' gear at the top right of the page and made some adjustments, and now all the grades I posted are gone. I did change the late policy in the gradebook, but I did not like the results. I wanted to reset it so the grades I posted return. However, this is not an option according to Canvas support. I had to manually adjust the grades.
Can we have a reset or undo function in the grade book. Teachers should have the option to reset anything they 'try out' and do not like. Thank you!
