[Gradebook Settings] "Grade Release Date" Option in Assignment Settings

Since the changes to the gradebook last year, it would be really beneficial to have an additional option when setting up assignment regarding overriding the grade posting policy.

Can we please have an additional button in the "Assign" section so that, regardless of whether the anonymous settings are enabled or not, staff can enter the date that grades will be posted. At the moment our lecturers need to set up assignments two different ways (depending on whether assignments are anonymous or not) to stop grades from being released early to students.

Problem statement:

To protect the students' mental health and wellness and the learning environment, we have a K12 school policy for grades to be published/released outside of school hours. This is additional work for our teachers to do this because they have to remember to do this after hours, when they may be helping a student or coaching after school.

Proposed solution:

Since we are not supposed to post grades during the school day, maybe we could do a "schedule release" like we do with emails. Wouldn't it be great if we had a tab that we could use to schedule those grades and comments for after the school day?

Problem statement:

Whenever we want to 'Post grades' via Speedgrader at a certain time (e.g. 1pm on XXX Date) we always have to have someone around to do this and actually remember to bit the 'Post grades' button at exactly the right time. What if the person who normally does this is off? What if nobody else on the admin team is around to action it? It would mean the students wouldn't get their results at the right time which will have implications for the School in that results HAVE to be published exactly 4 weeks after submissions are made.

Proposed solution:

If, when we are setting up the submission portal, we could set a timer to release the grades at the set date and time, it would make the process less dependent on someone having to be around. Results could be input once they are ratified at the Module Moderation Board and then released automatically at the date and time necessary.
