[Groups] Add students to multiple groups

Problem statement:

We are using Canvas for department advising. We have students in sections with their advisors and grouped the students by major/minor and year classification in People. This has worked great; however, it would be nice to be able to add a student that is a double major/minor to more than one group in a group set. (For example, a student double minoring in Crime and Justice and Leadership Community Engagement only shows up in the Crime and Justice minor group and not the Leadership Community Engagement group)

Proposed solution:

A solution to this would be to have the feature to allow students to be in more than one group under a group set.

Problem statement:

We use Canvas for departmental advising courses. In the People section, we put students in groups by major and minor. In some of our departments, students are getting both a major and a minor or double majoring. When this is the case, the student only appears in one major group. This presents a problem when advisors are trying to see everyone who is that is a major or minor because the list is inaccurate.

Proposed solution:

Allowing students to be in two different groups in a Group set would allow for more flexibility in courses as well as allow our advisors to see a complete and accurate list of their majors and minors.
