Canvas Shells are imported from previous semesters to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy. A method should be developed so that a selected group of Assignments or Discussions within a Module could all be changed simultaneously. Currently, each page has to be changed manually even if the change is global across the pages.
A select all function would allow the selected pages / Assignments / Discussions could then be edited to change the default categories such as grade points, Disallow Threaded Replies, and other variables all at once. This will be a much more efficient way to update course assignments and to allow a much easier way to keep the course relevant and not fall into redundancy.
