New Analytics: In the UK, quite often, there are multiple "dropboxes" (Canvas Assignments) for a single assessment for the simple reason that there's one Canvas Assignment for regular deadline, another for late submissions with Extenuating Circumstances, Individual Learning Plans etc. Usually those multiple Canvas Assignments that are created for a single assessment component would be within one Canvas Assignment Group. Unfortunately, Canvas New Analytics does not offer any way to view the data for an Assignment Group.
The default "Course grade" view is okay to see how the class performed across various Canvas Assignments - though it would benefit from changing the X-axis order to ascending order of submission deadlines. Much more important - please allow the instructor to select either a Canvas Assignment Group OR multiple Canvas Assignments to generate a histogram to see the overall performance of the class on that assessment component.
