I have noticed that the students are able to navigate to different site while in the process of taking a test or quiz in Canvas. This only helps them cheat in my opinion. I see it happening often.
I think it would be great if Canvas could automatically close out a quiz if the student goes to a different site while actively taking a quiz. This would alert the teacher that the students are on a site they shouldn't be on while taking the quiz, and the student would now KNOW that their quiz is locked and they can not go back into it. It would help minimize the cheating I see students attempting to do every time we take a quiz.
