Students digitally record quiz questions and then post them online. This is done despite using LockDown Browser (it is easy to keep a cell phone off camera to record the quiz questions). This is not a small problem -- with hundreds of students each semester, every one of my quiz questions ends up on the internet multiple times and I have no way to identify who is posting the questions. The integrity of the course is compromised because this problem is so common.
The topic has been previously presented and archived. (Submitted by marshallk on 05-11-2020) Watermark Quiz Content
I suggest that Canvas watermark quiz questions with the Student ID or other identifying information so that if a picture of a quiz question (or screen shot) ends up on a website, discussion board, etc. that incidence can be traced back to the student for Academic Integrity processing.
PLEASE work on creating an individualized watermark over the presented quiz questions. This could be used to identify a student who captures the screen content and then posts it to the internet. I must be able to identify who is posting the material online in order to maintain academic integrity.
