I teach classes that I am able to use New Quizzes and automate a lot of the grading. But I want students to ask me questions about their work. The assignment comments are *perfect* for this because I get a link directly to the assignment (no scrolling through hundreds of students and hundreds of assignments! working with a name that may not be correct). I can see the student's question and the quiz question the student is asking about right there on the same page. And I can respond to them and add points from the same page. This is exactly what I want to do. However, when I click on the link I conveniently receive in my email [hey, what do you think about creating an instructor to-do for things like this?] I am taken to a page where I can see just one attempt. Many of my quizzes are short and built with robust banks; I encourage the students to take them multiple times. Being able to easily access a students' other attempts without opening the full quiz, going to the speed-grader, and finding the one of a hundred students would be much for efficient.
From the assignment comment link in an emailed notification, take instructors to the full Speedgrader for that student's assignment where they can see all attempts.
